What Are Oil-Free Air Compressors?

Oil-free air compressors are specifically designed to either use alternative materials to protect the components and mechanism without lubrication or have no mechanical contact inside the compression chamber. In essence, they are simply compressors that do not use any lubrication inside of the compression chamber. In comparison to their oil-lubricated counterparts, they have fewer parts and a longer lifespan due to the absence of any oil or lubricant that can contribute to component degradation. They also eliminate the need for extensive filters, dryers and other air treatment accessories in your workshop, factory, or other facility.
